So, I guess I will start my first blog off with the basics and keep it simple & sweet. (o.k. maybe not always sweet).
Blogging is not a new opportunity, but it is new to me! It feels strange for me to put myself out there in the blogging community like this. I am an easy going kind of girl, sensitive by nature who is almost at that wonderful place in my life where..."yay... I don't care much what others think of me!"
People around us often judge everything we do! Society is harsh and family & friends are quite often critical rather than supportive of what we do. But, it is most likely because they cannot see the same vision that we have and therefore cannot contribute to it.
We do however learn a lot from the those around us. Some of our greatest teachers are the those most dear to us, friends, family, coworkers, bosses etc. (young and old) that don't even know that they've contributed. Even you who is reading this have probably taught someone close to you a valuable life lesson or have somehow inspired something remarkable inside of them, without you even knowing it.
So...o.k., all of you cynics out there, this is not only my very first blog, but this is also my first website so it may not be perfect! I may change things often as I figure out what my focus will be! And blogging is an inexpensive way to drive traffic to a website. I realize that I still have much to conquer.
I recently started this online blog-site after 20+ years of working for someone else and pretty much jumped in to this new adventure with my feet first with just a glimpse of vision of what was ahead of me. I let my discomfort of working for someone else in the workforce drive me to start a new journey.
As I put my vision into action, and gain a focus on what I want to convey to the world, I will naturally stumble and fall. My new internet friends who inspire me will unknowingly pick me up to get going again. As I learn and grow through this process I will somehow find the courage to share some of my deepest thoughts and hopefully encourage a few of you along the way who may follow in my footsteps as well! See you at the top! ttyl
